1981 tour brought Bruce Springsteen to the Oakland Coliseum. The father of one of my college pals was the head of BASS tickets and scored us 8th row seats. Bruce stood on my chair to sing this one to the crowd. As I looked up in amazement, I kept thinking: “I wanna make people feel good like that.”
